The SM1-BM is a high-performance, back-mounted omni-directional microphone designed for optimal audio capture. The selectable lo-cut and hi-cut filters further enhance the audio quality by significantly reducing background noise.
Easy Installation
The SM1-BM is specifically designed to be mounted behind a thin flat surface, such as a kiosk terminal panel. Installation is quick and hassle-free. Simply drill a ¼-inch hole in the surface, attach the SM1-BM to the inside surface of the panel, and firmly press it onto the surface after cleaning it with alcohol. It is important to avoid mounting the microphone near air conditioning vents, light fixtures, or electrical equipment to prevent any interference.
Optimal Placement for Monitoring
To achieve the best results, it is recommended to place the SM1-BM as close as possible to the subject(s) that need to be monitored. While the microphone is usable at distances of up to 25 feet, the effectiveness may vary depending on the level of background noise in the area.
