EDKS-1G

IP Camera or other IP device Kill Switch

Description

The EDKS-1G is a device designed to interrupt the power and streaming of data from an IP camera or other Ethernet connected devices. The EDKS-1G is 10/100/1000 (1G) data rate compatible and mechanically makes / breaks all 8 data lines with relays. The EDKS-1 is placed in-line with the end device’s CAT5 Ethernet cable. 12-15vdc is applied or removed to enable or disable the camera / device depending on which version EDKS-1 is ordered. A switch can be mounted on the wall of the room along with an external power source to trigger the EDKS-4. Other equipment that outputs a 12-15vdc 100ma power source can also be used to trigger the EDKS-4.

  • EDKS-1G-VD: Disables cameras when 12-15 VDC is applied.
  • EDKS-1G-VE: Enables cameras when 12-15 VDC is applied.
